Selected Dancers Get Paid to Perform
Every studio is provided with the same choreography to perform in our special VERSASTYLE Unity Show. This is
a large showcase with different sections that mix selected intermediate /sr. dancers with dancers from different
studios to be performed during the VERSASTYLE competition. It’s a great opportunity for students to meet other
dancers from different studios, perform on stage like it’s a full theatrical production and experience what it’s like to
be paid like a professional!
- Studio selects their 4-7 representatives
- Portion of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the dancers
- Rehearsals will be scheduled with our UNITY Director
The Steps
Step 1
Receive your section of the VERSASTYLE Unity Show choreography
Step 2
Select your 4-7 representatives and add it to their comp offers*
Step 3
Dancers choose one dancer from the video and learn all their parts
Step 4
Dancers attend the scheduled group rehearsal(s) (during comp weekend)
Step 5
Invite your friends and family to purchase tickets and come watch
Step 6
Be ready to perform the routines during our scheduled times
Step 7
Performers receive payment for their hard work
Eligibility & Performance
- Studios are only permitted to perform this choreography at VERSASTYLE dance competition, studio comp showcase and recital.
- Number of showcase performances is dependent on scheduling constraints
- Dancers must be inter/senior competitive or elite dancers
F.A.Q.
Where do I purchase tickets?
You and your families may purchase tickets for the Unity Showcase at the event. Please keep in mind, these tickets are a separate fee where proceeds will go to the dancers.
Can we select any dancers from our studio?
This Unity experience is for your inter/seniors that are competitive or elite that up to the Versastyle challenge.
Do we need a dance teacher to practice routine?
That is completely up to you. It is important that the dancers have prepared by learning the choreography and rehearsing ahead of time before attending the event.
How and when do we receive the choreography?
The choreography will be sent to you shortly after you register and submit your entries.
What style will the choreography be and what is the length?
The styles and length will be a surprise, but you will have sections of the UNITY SHOW assigned specifically to your studio as well as sections that will include everyone on stage.
How will you decide which studio receives what choreography?
The decision will be made by the Versastyle Directors.
Will their be conflicts in the schedule?
We carefully schedule our events to assure minimal quick changes and plenty of rest time. You will receive the schedule including the UNITY showcase before the event in order to plan accordingly.
